TREVISO
Venice's garden
Treviso comprises exquisite artistic towns that have maintained their medieval charm over time, along with Venetian villas, rolling hills and excellent local food.
The old town is about fifty kilometres from Eraclea Mare and is characterized by typical medieval
streets lined with arcades and palaces, some of whose original frescoes are still intact. While
walking through the streets of the centre, stop to admire the beautiful Piazza dei Signori and visit
the principal church, the Duomo. The river Sile runs through Treviso and creates a lovely network
of canals along natural oases, old mills and historic villas.
There are many towns with points of interest: Castelfranco Veneto is the city of Giorgione and
houses the clock tower, the castle and surrounding neighbourhood, in addition to the stylish shops
around the historic walls; Asolo was a source of inspiration and still offers a unique atmosphere;
The Prosecco Road through the rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene seems to be a single
vineyard interspersed with ancient abbeys and ancient trees; Conegliano is a small Renaissance
town offering elegance, history and excellent local food, Oderzo;Vittorio Veneto and many others.
Among the local products we recommend trying are red chicory, the exquisite dessert called
tiramisù and superb cheeses like Morlacco and Inbriago.
Breathe an air full of art and unique excellence during your stay in Veneto!
