Eraclea Mare is located in a strategic position near many art cities worth a short visit.
Concordia Sagittaria is an attractive archaeological town about 30 km from Villaggio California.
Archaeological excavations were begun last century, resulting in the discovery of a burial ground
from the fourth or fifth century AD. Also of interest is the Basilica Apostolorum that rises above a
large Roman domus of the first century AD; it is said to have been built to house the relics of the
Apostles. The beautiful old town is also home to a baptistery – a gem of Byzantine art –, the
cathedral dedicated to St. Stephen and various cafés and shops.
Portogruaro is a magical town through which the Lemene River passes; it offers breathtaking views
to those who come for a visit. The massive walls enclose the historic centre – definitely worth
exploring. The tower of San Gottardo, the noble palaces, the Cathedral of St. Andrew with its
curious bell tower that leans over like the tower of Pisa and the fairy-tale-like mills on the Lemene
River will leave you spellbound. On Thursday morning the typical weekly open air market is held,
highly recommended!!

Very nice place
Very nice place to stay with family and friends, table tennis with playgroud under the trees for kids. Nice staff and other.
